Well still playing WoW, I can tell you the Pally still heals pretty nice.
Anyhow, for WoW, I've played two characters, Pally and Mage. Mage was always fun for me, it's just that, when I finally got to end game PvP, I realized it was impossible to kill anybody. That's when I discovered the little demon known as Resiliance... that's a game killer for me. When you're crit reliant like a Mage, and they have a stat that exists to turn crits into shit, you know you're in trouble. It made trying to grind the PvP gear I wanted too much of a waste of time.
Anyhow, Pally was a tank, and I must say, being a Pally tank is the most amazing thing ever. Everybody laughs when you say you're tanking. Healers occassionally make an attempt on your life by healing everybody else on a boss before you. Not to mention Asshat groups that forget when they have to be keyed for something and you end up wasting an hour before they realize that.
Yeah, those are the two reasons why I'm leaving WoW.
