Yeah, too girlish for me, getting to know what it is like being raped by some creepy guy from a girls point of view was not something that I ever wanted to find out.
And I felt pretty stupid reading it too, my teacher said it was good, so I picked it up. About halfway through the book I am told by a classmate, "You know that is a girls book right", and it was one of those 'you got to be kidding me' times, like I couldn't believe I didn't think of that earlier.
But to each his(her) own right?
