WoW never destroyed my life, it's one of those games I just played when I felt like it. The original EQ is what destroyed mine, at least thats the one I had my zombie powerleveling urge for a little bit there. Aside from that, stuff relied on a spawn timer in that game.. there's been several occassions where we would be camping a spot all day just for a single thing to spawn.
On the bright side about spawn timers, is that not everyone did a quest to get a uber item, since it was timed only the people willing to do that got those items usually, so you didn't see 10,001 people running around with the same item(s) like you do in other MMO's. Ok, I ranted for a bit.. I'm good now.
