What it states is 'current testers.' I would activate your closed beta code and log in. If you have logged into the closed beta your account is enabled for future beta iterations. Have you logged into the
account management page and activated your keys? As you mentioned, you don't have to use the open beta key if you've already participated in closed beta. Hope this helps and I didn't completely miss your point
