Usually the problem with most comedies, is that they have funny moments but the story overall is just dumb!

Most maybe, but 40 Year Old Virgin, Anchorman, and Wedding Crashers are all recent comedies that I think are absoltuely great. Apatow, McKay, Ferrel, and those frat pack guys are making some damn good comedies.
