I'm not a fan of the fact that the only spells attributed to mages at this point are direct damage spells - that is precisely the problem with spellcasters in nearly every other mmo to come out so far.

I sincerly hope that the 'arsenal' of spells they mentioned broadens out a little or i'm pridicting that the 'demonologist' and 'necromancer' are going to be shit, regardless of how powerful they make them.

Call me crazy, but i've always believed that 'pure' spellcasting classes should have a little more depth too them then simply being archers that fire spells instead of arrows.

That being said, the melee mage classes do sound interesting at least.
