I love the Western idea. Ive always wanted to see different time periods fight, like say Aliens pulled Warriors from each era onto a planet and had them battle each other. From Medieval Knights, Western gunslingers, Samurai, Cavemen, Marines, etc. And try to balance them somehow, that would prove to be some great battles.
