If you can afford it Adobe Illustrator does vector images.

*edit* I am using your theoretical company as a subject for an Adobe Illustrator tutorial in this section. I really don't care if you will like the final product I design, but I hope you will read and learn how to make your own logo!

I am the freaking master of Adobe Illustrator, perhaps I will write up a tutorial on vector images and logo design for you guys now that we have a section for it.

I recently took a new job as a "technology integration specialist," which means I work with teachers to fit computers and other technology into the curriculum so that kids get a more relevant education, but for the past 10 years I have been a graphic artist specializing in logo design.

In the mean time, any questions you have about Illustrator I am positive I can answer for you.
