Monk of some sort? The man who was Sandor Clegane was dead, I think someone said.. believe it was a monk/priest. Which leads me to believe that Sandor became a monk, and the stonecold killer is no more. So, perhaps Sandor did find some peace? Possibly.

i like this idea... redemption as a redeeming quality.... :P hard to find these in his books. His writing is just so blunt and brutal and honest.

shame sandor was such a minor character...

wanted to bump this thread... here is a picture of sandor before he flees the siege at kings landing... notice the green fire in the background, and his white cloak. Sansa's in it too. He makes her kiss him then leaves...

you know, come to think of it... there is another well known picture of Sandor on his horse.

Sandor's horse was named Stranger...

the stranger is the 7th god of the Holy Seven that the people of Westeros worship...

could it be another reference to Sandor's more spiritual, monk-like nature... hmmm... this stranger?

maybe im just reading into it. :P

I don't think Sandor was really a minor character, I wouldn't really call him a major character either, but somewhere in the middle.

As an aspiring writer, im always looking for what young artists are doing... its no Hemingway, but well...

Ya that's along the path I was thinking, since it sounded like "the man we knew as Sandor, is dead" thing could mean that he's not gone, just the way he was is.

...so I just was browsing Logo's in SC (used bookstore) and found an old copy of Windhaven. I had seen it before a couple of times at Borders new but never bought it, ...but this time for $1.75 I couldn't pass it up! I have another book to finish up first but I gonna get started reading it soon. Anyone else read this one by GRRM and Lisa Tuttle?
