+1 That book is pretty cool. It's funny when the image you had in your head is so completely off base. Amok's site is cool too. There's also art from a couple of other series but not as much as the Ice and Fire books. |

I've also been a huge fan of the series. I do think that A Game of Thrones was my favorite, mostly because it was the first time I had read a book in which any of the protagonists were "fair game", so to speak. Twists and backstabs abound. You read Martin's books, and everything else in the genre just seems so... fluffy. It's so raw.
I do feel, however, that he's gotten to a point where there are just too many subplots going on. I generally enjoyed A Feast for Crows, but I don't think it was his best work. He's even stated in the preface and on his website that it was a challenge to write with so many things going on. It'll be interesting to see how the final chapter does, how he ties things together. |

I'm also anxious to hear more about Daenarys. Martin really set the stage for her conquests. I'm sure we'll see her sights set on Westeros early on, and it'll be interesting to see what becomes of her three dragons as well. I imagine they'll become quite a force, with the main story-line focusing on her. I think there are so many other characters, such as Arya, who have the potential to develop and stand out.
side note: I originally thought that A Dance with Dragons was going to be the final chapter, but it looks like there are 2 more planned after that? Or is this just rumor? |

Yeah, Dance is suppose to be like two books I read somewhere as well, it should be rather long I think! I think there are 7 total, but not positive!
ps ragamuffin- Euron's Horn should be interesting with the dragons ... ![]()
