The Hunters Blades Trilogy
I'm currently on the final book in this story. Its made by Forgotten Realms AKA: R.A.Salvatore, you know the dark elf turned good Drizzt Do'Urden. Personaly I could care less for the darkelf but the storys that R.A makes with him are just so interesting.
Well to start Snow giants and Orcs join up and head out to attack from the spine of the world(its like the dark place for all evil) and at the same time The dark elf and friends plus 500thousand dwarfs are on their way to mithrial halls(like 1 of 3 main dwarf capitols) Wile on the way they meet a band of dwarfs from another dwarf kingdom and thats where all the trouble starts with those dwarfs they brought gaints and orcs yelling and pounding at there heels. A orc raises and states him self king of all orcs and chosen champion of the orcs god. Ill stop there I'm not that great at righting about things that interestes me so rent it buy it borrow it but its a must read really nice book |

I've read the first one. Salvatore is a great writer, but I'm just not that great a DnD fan, and I personally don't care much for Drizzt. I did read the Drow series of books that Salvatore managed, and they were great fun. I personally like the Planescape DnD universe, and wish there were more stories about that. Ravenloft would be fun, too.

I've read all the RA Sal. Drizzt stories. I'm so glad I was able to kill their party in BG2. Wish they'd include something like that in NWN
His action sequences were very dull and boring to me. If not for the fact that I bought them, I wouldn't even read it. |

Yes, Drizzt is a wonderful character, and I believe Salvatore to be a great writer.
Even though they are all great books, the few in The Dark Elf Trilogy are still my favorites put together. Just the explanation of the Dark Elf lifestyle intrigues me intensely! Drizzt's prevaling over the odds really catches your attention.
