My personal all time favorite is Spawn. I adopted alot of McFarlane's drawing style over the period of reading his work. Even when he did Spider-Man.

But the Spawn storyline was great, although it got a bit out of hand past issue 30 or so. But it was still good. Sold most of my comics. All I really have left is Spawn 1 - 10, and issue 38 that features signatures of Kevin Conrad, Tony Daniels, and the actual guy Todd based spawn off of.

I have a signed Spawn poster with Al Simmon's signature. I think his name is Al. It's been a long time since I've look at Spawn. I really do say that I like McFarlane's brand Toy Line. His artwork/statues are more detailed than what you'd normally spend on one.

McFarlane toys are just gorgeous. They're all great and I own a pretty fair amount of them, even the Conan line he put out.

My brother is a gigantic Batman fan so I've read a few of them like the Hush series after he bought them. He also likes Hellboy, though I'm not so much a fan of that. I'm hoping that they'll start a new Ghost Rider series due to the movie, because he's one of my favorite characters.

The Marvel "Civil War" series is really good. Also I found the "Marvel Zombies" to be a great twist on some old and tired heroes.

Not sure if anyone else has heard of this series before but I was hooked on a comic call, "Poison Elves," for a while. Its a black and white publication set in a fantasy world where the main character is an elf named Lusifer. Its filled with tons of dark humor, magic and demons, bloody combat, drinking...and busty beer wenches .

Another good one (though its a graphic novel) is "Preacher." The story is based on how a demon and an angel were fucking...and gave birth to something that...um yeah...anyway this preacher winds up with the power of god, as in I think it and will it and it happens. He made this asshole sheriff actually "go fuck himself".....hehehehe. The preachers reaction was something along the lines of, "I didn't think that that was actually possible."

Yeah, I like Preacher. Probably my favorite part is when he makes that guy count all the grains of sand on the beach and tells him he can't leave until he does. I forget how high he gets before a gust of winds blows the sand away. The man starts to cry and goes back to 1...
