George R.R. Martins Fire and Ice series I have to say are better books. Only books Ive read that I literally had to put down because the story pissed me off so much. But the Wheel of Time series, if you have the patience, is actually pretty entertaining in its own right. I do have to put it down from time to time just cause I get bored and dont care, but then truding through it, it usually makes up for it in the end. Im on book 7 now but I only read when I have time (30 min a day?) so probably wont finish for a while. One complaint about the Fire and Ice series though....have to wait YEARS for a new god damn book. Damn you George!

I read a bunch of them a second time as well, then I found out the last book is Sword of Truth was coming out in November so I started reading that again to be ready for the last book
![]() I didn't really have much trouble keeping track of all the characters, but I definitely intend to get my hands on George R.R. Martins Fire and Ice series as I would probably enjoy more people dying, haha :P

I started reading these when they first came out. Whenever a new one came out I would reread the entire series over so I could keep all the plot threads straight. That being said....
I now live in a padded room and twitch alot. I hate Jordan. I think he's just in it for the money. Jordan is a decent author, but a horrible person. I have over 600 Fantasy books in my collection and know a little on the subject. He's started playing us all after book 4 and hasn't stopped since. /rant off

Love this series. In fact I just started to reread them. I love all of the side stories and additional character plots. Having one or two people can get kinda bland after awhile. My favorite series of all time, Dragonlance, had many characters with different plots behind each, although who didn't idolize Raistlin
. WOT has the same feel to me and I enjoy some of the distractions from the main plot it offers. |

I love this series, finished all the books and the book on Moraine and Lan, that was a cool one. Really enjoyed this series, looks like I will have to look for that Fire and Ice one now though, sounds interesting.
