Angels and Demons (Dan Brown)

I've just finished this books and its pretty good, its all about science vs religion which i think alot of you would like (telling from all the fundamentalist threads on this site )

It also introduced ambigrams to me, which are words thats look exactly the same from upside down, look at my avatar

I'm a fan of Dan Brown, have read all his books. I actually liked this one better than The Davinci Code.

I'll agree on that one. I LOVED Angels and Demons. Great book indeed.

And if you'll take a look at my sig, you'll see an Ambigram in it

agreed, read it three times now...

kinda funny, I thought a lot before reading it cause well, was sugested by my grandmother..so yeah her tastes are different, but wow.

deep down, it's more than science vs religion, but everything that religion has done to preserve themselves, good and bad.

I agree with Copon. I read the DaVinci Code first, but after reading Angels and Demons, it was a WAY better book. It completely sucks you into the book in just a few short pages!!

I haven't read anything by Dan Brown but I have been meaning to pick up some of his books on my next trip to the book store.

Thanks for the tip Shrike. I will have to check it out. I have a problem finding authors whose style I like. When I do find one I tend to read their releases as soon as they come out then have to bide my time till another comes out. That or they go and die on me and then that shrinks the choices even more. So anytime I can find an active author that I like it's a good thing. Sorta works like that with computer games too. I usually only find two or three a year that are actually worth the $50 or so they cost.

Agree, although I liked the Da Vinci Code I found Angels and Demons to be several steps ahead. Overall one of my favorite non-fantasy style books.
