The 13th Legion books from the 40k were glorious! I loved them!
I was thinking about reading Gotrek and Felix, are they good Warhammer novels to get some history/lore background from? if not which are? Oh and I also noticed they came out with a new book about the dwarves called grudgelore, seems cool. I may have to get it!

Just picked up the recently released Vampire Wars: The von Carstien Trilogy by Steven Savile yesterday. So far, it's an excellent read and has grasped my attention since the beginning.

The fantasy books I have read are Mark of Chaos (yes related to the game), Day of the Daemon, and Night of the Daemon (the sequel). I have a couple of the 40K books, horus heresy, and some others but I haven't read them all the way through.

I've read "Manslayer" (Gotrek and Felix), "Palace of the Plague Lord" (very good), and the first two books of the Malus Darkblade saga (I'll start the third one tomorrow). They give a great insight into the dark elf culture; I'd recommend them to anyone planning on being a DE ingame or to anyone in general really.

Storm of Iron is also pretty good Guardsman Hawke ftw lol, im bout 1/3 of the way into Pawns of Chaos n i dunno not really getting sucked in, might be the pre exam depression or something.

I ordered them from Amazon a couple months ago (Malus Darkblade books).

They sent me the books with a notification that they were sold out of the second one.

So I've read the first book, and I gotta wait for the second one to get here before I can move on in the series.
