Michael Crichton Books?

Anyone into Michael Crichton? The omnipotent creator of books such as Eaters of the Dead, Jurassic Park, Timeline, and the Congo?

By far this man is my favorite author. He delves into the Sci/Fi genre but trys his best to keep it seemingly realistic and scientific, keeping every page dripping with imagery and detail.

I love him... His books are so good all the movies they make off them have trouble living up to the novels.

The Andromeda Strain wasn't half bad at all, I just got a bit bored with it when they began talking about all the scientific stuff =\ (than again I was in 9th grade when I read it)

I did finish it though and theres nothing better than a crazy ass virus that has contaminated a town and the only way to fix it is to nuke the place =DDD

Yea, I've read "Prey" multipe times. I didn't like the ending much. He usually ends his novels on a much brighter note..the ending in this book just abruptly halts and just leaves you sitting there going...."well...."

And I actually think all the science stuff is nice, he uses existing research on things to make his books feel like they could be real stories..not fiction. I think that's what defines him as a writer. Of course I realize if your in 9th grade this could cause some confusion... to some people.

Timeline was the first book I actually sat down and read, excluding crap I had to read for school. That was quite awhile ago and I've been reading like a mad man ever since. Good author and enjoyed a few of his books.
