Anybody picked this one up?

It's pretty interesting, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like very many Non Fiction books.

It's about what would happen to the world if all of humanity just disappeared one day. It talks about what would happen to all our buildings, and gives us facts about the past, and how we are hurting the environment now and if the environment would recover if we disappeared.

Made me look at humanity differently, and how we're more of a plague than we are an intelligent race. Kinda disgusting how selfish man kind is.

I was thinking about picking it up ever since the author was on the daily show.
Game designers shold read it, I bet it's like a guide on how to make a post-apocalyptic game world

hehe kinda, it doesnt say much about HOW we're going to disappear, just gives statistics mainly. it reminded me of an activist trying to get people to listen to him, and finding interesting ways to do so

most people wouldn't look twice at a book if it said 'hey, im gonna fill ur head with a bunch of statistics and tell u how much of a POS u are because ur human... pay 25 bucks n read me!'

so the author found a good way to mask this :P

naw actually its pretty interesting, i dont regret buying it.

people think that the nuclear war heads that we'd leave laying around are so dangerous, when in fact, they're probably the least of the environments worries.
