Had to read The Great Gatsby, it was ok but all school reading sucks lol

I hate reading but i Liked the great Gatsby What english class are you taking?

And Im taking College American Lit id say East of Eden is The best

I am in English III AP which is relative to american literature... i just read their eyes were watching god and seriously it was one of the biggest wastes of time close to Moby Dick and Walden they all frickin sucked massive balls... especially, the scarlet letter ( STAY AWAY FROM THAT BOOK)

The Scarlet Letter was the friggen worst book; the only thing worse was watching the movie. "the babbling brook" awww god...

Sounds Like English 3 AP sucks Ill stick to AP Amer Lit Better books =) im not complaining

If you want to read some good books take a Western Literature class (The Odyssey (Homer), The Divine Comedy (Dante), The Metamorphosis (Kafka), Medea (Forgot Who Wrote This), Oedipus The King (Also Forgot). Only book I really disliked was Othello (ugh....)

Walden, lmfao the worst story i've ever read. Luckily i only had to read passages and not the whole story.

At least you did not have to read Cat's Eye. As a guy I did not like this totally feminist book.
