Gunslinger

Anybody here read the Gunslinger Novels by Steven King?

I heard they were good books and read the first one but can't get through the second one. Do they get better I don't want to waste my time if they aren't going to become more enjoyable.

I gave this one a try a couple of years ago, but didnt like it so I gave up on it. Fantasy + Western = Yuk imo

I haven't read the books, but the The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Reborn is a very good graphic novel. Beautiful colours.
