my recomendations
I read alot and have read in all different sort of genres. I recommend the following books.
Enders Game series is ....I dont even have a word for it. Ismael by Daniel Quinn - Kinda deep but will help you reevaulate the way you think about the world. Shogun - awesome book, slow to start but is a brillant book. Made me buy 2 more books about the history and traditions of the samurai. Battle Cry feedom - Best book ever on the Civil War Any book by Dan Brown, I know he worte Da vinci's code by cheak out angels and demons, deception point and digital fortress. I use to read all the dragon lance books back in the day. Maybe thats why I have a 70 tauren warrior named KAZ Unfinsihed life - Great book on JFK. I do enjoy Noam Chomsky and Henry Kissinger books if not for the pure bias in them. 1984 by Orwell.....I also recommend V for Vendetta (movie) Thats all I can think of now just by glancing and my book shelf in front of me. My two favourite periods of history are the Tudor/Elizabethan Era and time spanning the end of the Roman republic and beginning of the Roman empire.
I highly recommend David Starkey's book: Elizabeth, Struggle for the Throne. I just finished it a few days ago. It was an awesome read and only took me three or four days.

Some books I've enjoyed recently are the Preston/Child novels starting Agent Pendergast (Relic, Reliquary, Cabinet of Curiosities, Still Life with Crows, Brimstone, Dance with Death, & Book of the Death). I also like reading Clive Cussler's books but they are definitely not what people would consider "classics".

Well finished reading Ender's Game, read till bout 5am but i finished it and i gotta say it is an awsome book especially the 2 twists at the end:
SPOILER WARNING; Ill type in white so i dont spoil it. The fact that he was actually running the war through his simulation rather than just practicing got me good, same with the finding of the bugger queen egg in the end and how they recreated his software in real life to attract his attention I dont really get surprised by twists very often but those 2 really got me |
