Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.
War History: Band of Brothers.
Scyfi/horror: The Descent(great book, the movie ripped everything off of it and ended up still a really shitty movie.)

I'm a fan of Anne Rice. She is, however, the author of one of my favorite reads. "The Servant of the Bones". Not to mention I like her Vampire based books.

I don't really have a top 3

The Star Wars X-Wing series wasn't that bad, I'd read 'em again if I could find them lol

But in the same boat don't really have a "top 3"
