Inheritance Cycle (Eragon)

even though the movie sucked (which they usually do when based off books) I absolutle love the eragon books..........they are really good......the third one has finally been announced for september 20th anyone else ever read the books?

I've not read them and didn't know the film was based on novels. Not knowing that, I enjoyed the film.

I read the first two and really enjoyed them. I didn't go see the movie because I knew I would come out disappointed

I can't wait for the third!

the movie was based off the first book called eragon, you should read the second book called eldest, they are written by christopher paolini

Love love love the series, possibly even better than harry potter.

Currently reading The Cell by Mr. King so far so good.

first book - awesome

second book - amazing ending

third book - cant wait for it to come out

I have been waiting for the third book for so long!

These books rule.

Also, is the cover a picture of Glaedr (The golden dragon of Oromis who teaches Saphira), or the last dragon to hatch?

i think it might be the next hatchling, the first cover is saphira the second is thorn, im guessing the last book will be galbatorix's dragon

I just couldn't bring myself to read these books now, not after being totally disappointed with the movie - sorry all you book version fans out there.

And I thought John Malcovitch made a terrible fantasy bad guy - he did such a good job in con air.
