Dexter Books

I was watching the show and since I can't wait for 3rd season, I decided to pick up the books and all I can say is wow... they are amazing. You guys should definitely check it out.

Is there like a book per season? And they are still good even if you have watched like every show twice... Because Dexter is my favorite show at the moment ;]

From what I heard only season 1 followed any of the books.

Well theres a couple discrepancies between the books and show, and the books have some events that haven't taken place but might in the show. As long as that doesn't bother you its worth picking them up. Personally I enjoy both for what they are, but I know if theres a difference between say a book and a movie people get ticked off... The Ice Truck killer season was in the books but the way it was done in the book was much better imo. The Dark Passenger is more of a focus in the books. Its a lot deeper then the series but the way the series is done is quite enjoyable. I can't say too much without ruining it...

I read them they are very good and I would say even darker then the tv show. For me I was not a big fan of the last 2 books I think...I don't to ruin any of the books but I think nighteyes knowns what I'm taking about.

MLK? sorry not sure what that one is been awhile since I read them. I looked up the book it was the last one that came out Dexter in the Dark. The one where they went into the supernatrual with explaining the Dark Passanger. I like the way the writer had it before hand.

Yea thats what I was referring to. MLK is shorthand for the supernatural being in the book.
