What books etc have you found benificial and enlightning?
I'm a graphic designer and as such I'm always on the prowl for great and wounderful designer books. Lately I'm focusing very heavly on "typography". Here are some recent reads and purchases I found good. 1. "The Elements of Typographic Style" Robert Bringhurst; 2. "Primer of Visual Literacy" Donis A. Dondis 3. "Stop Stealing Sheep & Find Out How Type Works (2nd Edition)" Erik Spiekermann 4. "Thinking with Type: A Critical Guide for Designers, Writers, Editors, & Students (Design Briefs)" Ellen Lupton |
