The Man Who Swam The amazon

I read about Martin Strels, the man who swam the entire amazon in 66 days while camping this week and I found it quite interesting. The only bad point is that it foused more on the logistics than what actually happened to Martin but overall I found it worth the 200 pages it consisted of.

His support boat brought blood along with them and in pirahna areas they would dump it on the right side of the boat while he swam the left.

Truth. but once at night the boat forgot to drop blood and they tore right through his wet suit with no problem

Ouch. Anyone here see Stranger Wilderness with the Piranha scene? I was laughing my ass off. Cool about swimming the Amazon, maybe he'll brave the Nile next

congrats to him, he's pretty smart to avoid getting eaten by the piranhas. I'd never try that though.
