Thoughts about the new Mitsubishi Evo

Just wondering what you guys think about the Evo X.

Personally, they shouldn't have changed the body, it makes it look too futurized and less appealing. The Evo VIII and IX are what I think are the best looking models so far.

Just my 2 cents. :]

Yea i agree with you on the model being pretty crap, especially the front grill and the back lights just look retarded. Not sure bout the performance, havent realy looked into it and just might wait till the Top Gear guys review it

. though the last Evo they reviewed flogged a Subaru WRX, something which really surprised me.

It kind of reminds me of a rally car version of the Nissan GT-R.
I like it personally, then again I don't know anything about it besides what the body looks like.

I'm a little old for that car, it's really geared to the younger crowd but I can see the attraction.

I acutally kind of like the way the grill is. The body itself could look sleaker (sp?)
The grill in my eyes kind of makes it look mean, aggressive even.
But I don't really like their cars in general, some models come out pretty good but alot of my friends who've had mitsubishi's usually had problems with it.
As for the GT-R, sexy.

I really like how it has a sequential shifter, I'm not a big fan of h-shifters.
The interior looks nice and roomy too.

i personnaly like the look of the new evo the last one just looked naff. hope they have changed the service on it last model you had to service it every 4 thousand miles with a price tag of £346 per basic service and £700 for the high milege service oh and after 70 thousand miles you had to have the water pump, fuel pump, and distributer replaced which is a £3000 job with the rest of the service including replacing the cambelt , fan belt ,a gear box service ie removed stripped down re-greased and all the bearings replaced and it had a bad habbit of blowing the head gasket after 5 thousand miles if you kept reving it to hard.
