Looking for an artist!

Okay, so as you may have figured out... I love seals, especailly Harbor Seals. I have quite a few pictures of my babies posted here.

I'm hoping for someone to be able to draw one of these for a tattoo I'm seriously contemplating. I don't particularly like this one because of the outline. There are plenty of dolphin pictures that I love... I just wish they were seals instead!! Feel free to use my pictures as a basis for body build/posture, or find some online.

If anyone is ready or willing, I'd love for you to take a shot. I'm no good at drawing living things. Name your terms; I have paypal

Do you want something similar to the seal at http://www.dkimages.com/discover/pre.../15004512.JPG?

This one is cute too. http://bibianadesign.com/wp-content/...1/BabySeal.jpg

If you had an idea maybe I could try to be an artist for a day =0)

!!! Nice find! Your first one is just about perfect, if only it were a shade darker (easily fixed) and the claws weren't so prominent. (Probably an easy fix, but not for me)

Thanks If you wanna give being an artist a shot, go for it

The only reason I haven't posted to this, is because
A) there are much better artists than me on this site
B) I try not to make art for a specific reason, because then I end up trying to make it fit their needs w/ my art style, and it ends up clashing,
C) I don't know how Tattoo art really works, so I wouldn't know what to accent/leave out

Tattoo art can be anything you can put on paper. The good artists can do anything.

Well... I don't want to push you into something you're not comfortable trying, but I have a story anyway.

My 1st tattoo, I had a very specific idea in mind. I threw some ideas at a friend of mine, and he wound up drawing 10-15 different pictures. Some were close to what i wanted, some weren't even on the same playing field. Oddly enough, the tattoo I chose isn't even close to the original idea, but I like it so much better.

Art is just that... If someone is going to take the time to draw me something, they deserve to have a little of themselves in it as well. Don't let that scare ya!

And /agree with mcc... anything on paper can be made into a tattoo, if the ink artist is good enough.

I could take a shot at it, but, I don't have the time to make 10-15 samples for you to look at (I know you weren't asking for that many, but the more the better) and, I don't have the time to get even one picture done any time soon (I am an exceptionally slow drawer). Might I also suggest asking the tattoo artist to make one? I know that show INK or wh/e it is called, they always make custom ones.

Well she can do that. 'cept they will charge her for it, and change the tattoo from a walk in price to a custom work price. Walk ins are about $30-$50 an hour. My Phoenix wasn't quite a custom, but it did cost me $200 an hour.

I will take a crack at drawing a couple of ideas for you. Just might take a bit of time to work it into my schedule. I have drawn a koi fish before which is a somewhat similar feeling fluidity. Maybe I can draw it. I suggest that others try too cause like you said sometimes you want a selection to choose from.
