I'm more of a fan of Atlantis than I am of the original. I don't dislike the original on principle but once the series got into Jackson ascending and the whole ordeal with the replicators I lost interest. I do want to see the last season in its entirety but that's mostly due to being a fan of the theme of religious controversy that was more pronounced in it from what I heard.
