Stargate SG-1 DVDs

I bought the last season for the parent as a gift. But just saw that the whole series will be in a collecter edition in Oct I think. That will be a gift to me. But how else likes Stargate SG-1 I mean come on it has Richard Dean Anderson in it and he was McGuyver you can't beat that.

*Also of note it seems all the actors I like that have been in most of my shows that I like have been canadian weird, I thought most were from the U.S*

I thought SG1 was a good show, it got better over the years. Richard Dean Anderson did play a good role in that one. I liked all the main cast.

Its funny you mention this, as my roommate and I are working our way thru season 3 right now (only 7 more seasons to go

)

Then its time for stargate atlantis which is another 5 seasons...

Overall i think the actors and story are great, its one of the series I can see myself getting 10-15 seasons deep (with atlantis combined of course)

I was saddened when they said that the were stopping with season 5 for atlantis. I believe a movie will be made, but the series has stopped.

I could never really get into stargate. Just only the movie I was fond of. Never the show noir the new one;stargate Atlantis. Isn't another one that they are making besides the two new movies that they came out very recently?

Stargate sg1 rocks pity its ended well except for the 4 mini films there doing 2 out 3rd there filming at the moment 4th ive heard will be out next year. while stargate atlantis i personnaly think is great its just shy of how good SG-1 was but it seems to be carrying on the flag for the time being and i have a feeling we will be seeing the stargate franchise going on for a hell of a long time like the star trek franchise.which can be only a good thing

I enjoyed the stargate sg-1 series, also stargate atlantis. Own all of SG1 and all that are out on DVD for atlantis. I've also seen both the movies that came out that continue the SG1 story. The movies were okay, not as good as the series but I still enjoyed them and although I don't think they will continue to make more I wish they did. At least there is stargate atlantis.
