So my parents drag me to a "Family Vacation" to Seattle... so Im like WTF am I going to do there. They reply FAMILY STUFF!

So I get on the plane and as Im boarding to coach in 1st class I pass a slightly balding blonde man that looks familiar, so I just carry on whatever. I get off the plane and I see him... It was Adam Sessler from X-Play, and I told him Im a fan of the show and then asked him why he's in seattle since they film in LA. He says, "I'm here to cover PAX" I was like... wait.... thats here????! He said ya, so It looks like Im going to PAX.... alone but to PAX none the less, I will bring the photos of the cool stuffs going on for ya!

K so I'm back from PAX day 2 and I won't be going to day 3 but my head is so full of information that it is on the verge of exploding...

Start off with some big news (Blizzard)

Starcraft II is nearly done. It has a make your own race mode. Now I talked to a rep and I said "Watching this game makes me want a Warcraft IV, but with WoW I doubt we'll ever get it." He responded, "With the make your own race ability you won't need to wait for warcraft IV" then I asked him "What do you mean I wont need to wait, nothing has been announced so we may never get it... is WC: IV in production?" his response was "uhm... i can't really say, maybe it is maybe it isn't" WoTLK looks like a total crap storm from what I saw, sorry WoW goers.

Warhammer was there and it was just what you'd expect if you're in beta, you know what you need to but I did get to talk to Paul, and he promised me to not butcher the game with bad expansions.

Another fun looking game was Demigod, now I think they strayed a bit too far from a regular RTS... but in the long run, it may be for the best.

Aion: I thought this game would blow hardocore, but my god was it fun, i really enjoyed it had some innovative combo and air combat concepts in it. It will be great and since its from NCSoft it may be free .

On another hand I played Tabula Rasa, and wow this game has improved much since it's first release Im thinking of actually picking it up now.

Eve online was there with... well Eve online nothing new about the game but I was told that walking in stations would be in sometime in 2009.

Battlefield Heroes, very fun FTP and feels like any battlefield, but with the sense of humor of team fortress 2.

To ME the best shooter out there was.... DRUMROLL

Left 4 dead! My god was this game a blast, it really put you in the situation where you go... hmm how will I survive this, what can I do to survive? And it had so many great options, it will rock the FPS franchise.





Lastly On day 1 There was a 6v6 Team Fortress 2 tournament. Now in the freeplay area I found 3 players form TeamFortress2fort and so I joined them with 2 other random guys. When It came time for the tournament I believe there were about 40 some teams. It was 1 medic 1 demo and 2 of each max and CP/CTF maps 20min long most points at the end wins it. We made it to the 1/4 finals without giving up a single point to any other team, we just went team through team. And at the 1/4 finals we faced 7th ranked team by CAL. The team was "#" and they beat the shit out of us 7-0.

Thats pretty sweet.

Demigod looked pretty cool, although PC Gamer said it had some major balance issues, and some other things I can't remember. I don't even know if I would call it an RTS, since you really only control the one guy (and I think upgrades to your castle(s))
