I agree, it is odd to see height in meters. I'm 5'2", which I think is like 1.6m? Being a scientist I use metric a lot, but more for weight and volume... I personally don't deal with a lot of meters-yards conversions. I like metric though... it makes more sense!

Well it made me curious to actually have to question myself about that so I used a converter to find out my height in meter

I'm 5'4" so it would make 1,65m.
At 1,80m it would make you 5'9".

I love finding answers to my questions when they are that easy.

180cm= 5.9 feet, which is 5' 10.8" (being as there's 12" in a foot. Careful w/the decimals, Picky!)
182.88cm= 6.0 feet

(1foot = 30.48cm)

Thanks for the correction but like I said I just used a converter... Sounds like it wasn't a good one

(in my dreams maybe rofl)

also the UK uses feet and inches its only those freaky europeans that use metres and centermitres for height but as a nation we dont count our selves as europeans were to proud

(also cause the french are in europe... its a long story)
