I read through that article and I absolutely have no clue what it meant....but it doesn't look like good news judging by your responses lol

I understand what you mean. Everyone usually just bashes the biggest company and I usually hate that. EA is often unfairly attacked in the gaming world.

That being said, Sony has done enough to warrant plenty of criticism. Their activities when it comes to personal music come to mind. This PS3 business just shakes my trust in Sony to deliver a good investment when and IF i buy that PS3 that much more.

the 500-600 price killed it for me from the start. i don't care how it performs. these monopolies are bleeding consumers dry and all for the sake of entertainment.

I agree completely. However, I personally am not one to hold a grudge. Like I said before, I want a PS3 to succeed one big reason, 1080p. As a big console gamer the fact that it will play in 1080p is a big deal for me.

point taken my friend, I am just not so quick to release grudges. Many rumors have been flung around about the PS3 that have been disproven, but it is often true that rumors have some truth to them. I will continue to be skeptical, but not close minded.

Yours does 1080p? Mine only does 1080i. Unless you have some sweet mod to the video card that I am unaware of... If you do have one, please share (I am not sure how good it would be for games not designed for 1080p)

No. p=Progressive scan, the whole screen refreshes at the same time giving you twice the refresh rate. In fact, some people prefer 720p to 180i because it has a higher refresh rate.

half the power? i doubt that's true, given the right context though, maybe. Don't really care though, i've allready decided to upgrade my pc. It's all about the games though, and it looks like the Xbox360 is going to have the majority of the best games on the market(a year after the console launch, but oh well).
