in my guild we often say "bbl" -> be back later together with "afk"...

"afk, bbl" <- when ur leaving and don't really know how long you'll be away. If ye know, we just add that so we say "afk, bbl probably within X min"

and we just shout "add" when we get aggro.. there's never time to write more than that

(in fact, we usually just get a "HAHAHHA" from the first person that drops because of the add)

This list is somewhat silly, I'll just go for saying things I wanna say, but seeing the word Jargon stickied is awesome.

I'm used to off-tanking as a scrapper in COH*back in my heyday* and would often go to the rescue of the squishies while others battled the Lt/Bosses. Usually added aggro was "OOPS!" followed closely by a curse word of choice, then everyone but me falling because Regen was the shit ... back in the day.

So yeah, I'll be saying "OOPS" when I grab extra aggro or possibly "SHIT" instead of INC! just a heads up.

Well, I remember when ROFL and ROFLMAO were starting to get popular around mIRC chatrooms, a lot of people said it was stupid, but it is now used as commonly as lol.

Now one with the coke, I didn't hear about that one before lol.

aah I'm loving the list.. its always fun to come up with new silly thingies.. and most of them only makes sense to those who were around when it was thought up.

A fun phrase or expression we have in my guild is "the kirijoleth experience", and it exists only because of how terrible Kirijoleth (GL) is at pulling mobs, so whenever someone comes running back with a train of mobs, we simply say "ah well... it's all a part of the kirijoleth experience", or "this is almost like the kirijoleth experience"

*makes a weird noise and runs off into Atys once again*

hehehe, you seem really hooked on Ryzom........dunno why I can't bring myself around to start playing again.....I think I don't want to because I'm not ready to start wife-wars yet....kind of saving myself for AoC lol.

also, added FWIW - For What It's Worth....just run into that abbr on one of the forums I frequent, and it was used by a mod too.
