GIF Avatars

I was wondering if you could enable Gif Avatars on the site so I could put up a cool demon face on there.

Is it an animated gif? If not, you can convert it to jpg or bmp.

I personally would rather not see gif avatars. Too much moving graphics can be irritating, IMO.
