In Game Name for WAR

hi everyone

I have been trying to think of my IGN for my zealot in WAR but i am having difficulty. the ones i used in WoW just dont seem to cut it for the class and race i want to play. for example

troll priest named Halo
Tauren Druid named End

I have many more that i have used for various MMORPGS and FPS. I have yet to discover/ create one worth while for WAR. The idea that i need a last name too is even more difficult. So please, if you have any suggestions about a chaos zealot name please post them i would be extremely grateful.

I too aim to play one/two of each race. However i have a soft spot for Chaos Chosen. I will prolly just use my name Paimon(the name of a demon in hell) because it seems fitting. There is a list of 72 demons from the Ars Goetia, The lesser keys of solomon. If you are looking for a truely evil name that would fit a char, you might give them a look

scroll down that link a bit until you see the list. Dont mind the titles, it has, like "King Bael" "Duke Agares" they are just titles for the heirarchy in hell.

That's a pretty cool idea Paimon.

German words or names also work for chaos characters because they are essentially germanic. You can probably just use a web translator but there was also a thread on warhammer alliance where some german speakers were translating words into german for use as character names.

Sahaal will be my character's main name, but other than that I tend to just think them up on the spot. Sometimes I even just click the random generator until I find one I like.

thank you i originally tried the wikipedia though i couldnt find the right one, the english/germanic translations helped a lot;

revenge=Rache
death=Tod
shadow=Schatten
alone=alleine

death is weird but its interesting anyway i will probably choose from these either Schatten or Rache... cant decide but thanks guys

If I was going to roll a zealot, I would name him Charley... definitely Charley.




They just have a Charles Manson kinda vibe and look to them... yep.

Seeing as how I won't be RP-ing I'm not too concerned with the name. Chances are it will either be Mishgrail, Interfector, or Curatio. Those have been my standard three names for just about ever MMO that I've played. Table top games are a different story. My favorite name from a table top game was a character class and name that I helped develope: Argus Ageweaver.

Actually, it would be the Empire with Germanic names, though since many Chaos followers turn from there it's still a valid point. True northmen names would be Icelandic, in the case of the Norse, and Russian or Czech, in the case of the Kurgan. There are also the Hung, the Warhammer equivilant of the Mongolians, but it's unlikely they will be featured prominantly in WAR, if at all, since they mainly inhabit the far east of the Warhammer world.
