Actually its turkeys that drown themselves in the rain

And if the chicken meat and turkey meat are just cooked without any additional herbs/methods of cooking then they do tend to taste the same.

but the two animals do taste different in some recipes even though the same process/ingridient has been used.

Actually good sir, that was disproved on Mythbusters they proved that goldfish actually have a pretty good memory. Anywho, I personally find turkey to be tastier than chicken, but seasoning is definantly a defining factor in how it tastes.
