Believe it or not the Warcraft series taught me a few things about history. Zealots of course is a real term...lol I didn't know that thought it was just a video game term. There was a few I can't remember, but that is why I didn't do good in History I don't remember things unless it interests me very well.

I learned the definition of the word "Miasma" from the Final Fantasy games.

When it came up in my English class in the middle of reading Shakespeare, and the future Valedictorian didn't know what it meant, nor did anyone else, I was pretty pleased. The teacher was surprised anyone had even HEARD it before.

I don't remember the words but I've learned the meanings and how to spell a bunch from all my MMO's

I learned that you can fix things by hitting it with a wrench multiple times over.

But nah. All my hand-eye coordination and ridiculous reaction times come from being a gamer all my life. That and the usual typing skill improvement came from gaming + chat-based role-play.

I think typing and tolerance for stupidity (one thing I can thank WoW for) are the two things that I use most often which I learned from gaming
