This is actually a pretty common phenomenon among males (Not the kind of deja vu where you go "I've done almost this same thing before" but rather the kind where you go "I've experienced this before, even though it is happening now.") There are no good explanations for this. Some scientists have called it momentary disruptions in the temporal cortex which cause us to think that we have experienced it before with absolute certainty. This is bunk IMO, as I can occasionally clearly remember the dream in which I experienced it. The 2 most memorable occasions are when I dreamed that I was sitting around a table with a dozen other people in my local gaming store and we were having some sort of communal discussion. The weirdest things were that there was no table that big in the store and I didn't know most of the people around the table. About a half a year later I had let the dream go as an anomaly.
But, in the meantime, I joined a huge D&D game at the store with 14 people in it. To play we pushed together a bunch of tables in the corner of the store and one evening I looked up while we were discussing something for the game and I realized that my dream was coming to pass. I did not know most of these people half a year ago, the store had changed appropriately, 2 people were absent. Even more than that, the experience was the exact same down to my heartbeat, visual input (what my eyes could see), and breathing. It's like looking into an infinite mirror. It lasted about 5 seconds, then the feeling passed as that was all I remembered from the dream.

Yea this sort of thing happens to me a fair bit, often it will occur craploads of times usually in the first 3/4 months of the year, become less frequent througout the year and ceases to exist after september but then it starts up again next year

Must be imagining things either that or we'all strapped to a matrix machine which bugs sometime@!!!!!!!

Man i have messed up dreams. Even i wake up and im like...wtf? Recently Vilocel (sp) Raptors had invaded my home and i was trying to run away from them. However they killed my mom by pulling all of her veins out through her index finger. They were laying on the ground when i found her in her dieing state.

Now i ask you...WTF!?

I don't usually recall my dreams but once while on the patch to quit smoking I dreamed that I was on a ballistic missile submarine. We got the order to fire our missiles so I pushed the fire button and launched a 30 foot long twinkie (yes, the so called snack cake) at Russia.
The dream was very vivid and truely seemed real.

last night i had a dream about Dranex's new computer.... doesnt seem that strange or unusual... but if you know me TRUST ME i could care less about his ram and videocard but this dream was really in depth and kinda scary... i couldnt escape the land of the nerds!!!! (no offense anyone) haha

ya my dreams are usually pretty messed up... and usually has something to do with what is going on around me. Like this last week dranex's dad has been doing work on the dasement and has a saw thing set up outside the bedroom door and he get up early and turns it on... and whenever he does this i have dreams that im a slave forced to build some king his castle or that in trapped in a cave that has trains running on top of it.
And other times my dreams just plain old dont make any sense at all (similar to the black oprah Hulk!) like i have conversations with walls and bugs.

3I only have two dreams I remember.
When I was a toddler I used to live in downtown Boston in an apartment, and the dream was the apartment was on fire and I had to jump out of the window onto the big sheet they have at the bottom (at the time I thought it was a trampoline) and I'd bounce back up to the apartment over and over again.
The other is the dream started with me naked in the middle of a ski park, and I tried to get out without too many people seeing my junk.
Both of these I had when I was really young, haven't dreamed in ages.

K got a recent one, had a dream that i was reading these forums and reading a thread dissing Mythics city design because get this, there was too much food lying around on the roads of the cities, like cabbages, bread, big macs, chocolates wtf does that mean lols Solve that Dr.Froid !

If I can take a stab at this?

I can only see two possibilities.

a. Your a woman in a mans body.

b. You spend way too much time on a forum dedicated to a game that isn't out yet, obsessing over every little detail, and also have some kind of urge to through a piece of furniture. Your description of the dream wasn't clear enough for me to tell you what kind of furniture though, sorry.

If a. then I recommend lots of estrogen.

if b. then you need to get away from your computer, grab something pointy and run down the street naked screaming WAAAAAAA!

Your dream sounded whack skozak but unusually linear.

My recurring dream has always been that I'm running down the street I used to live on (on one of the air force bases I lived at when I was a kid) and there is a huge wolf (with a very,very long snout and sharp teeth) running down the street after me on its hind legs like a straight up person. My dad comes along and tries to kill it but I always wake up then.
