Am I the only one that got chills reading through all this?
Anyways, I always have the same dream atleast like once a month, and what's weird is that the dream takes place over like 3 days, everytime I go to sleep it continues where it left off. And in this dream I start off in my house, and everything is basically normal, untill I hear a scream from my mom's room. So I rush into her room and my step dad is like a zombie and he is trying to eat my mom, but I grab a knife (out of where I dont know) and I kill him, but it's too late cause my mom has been bitten. So I guess I leave her there and I get into a truck and I drive around picking up my best friends, and we're trying to get out of San Antonio as fast as we can, we're basically like monster trucking zombies and all that. While all this is going on the dream switches from like first person view and like an overhead view.
Now the explenation why this is weird.
The dream has been going on for like idk, 5 years, and the details of the dream kind of creep me out because the truck we're in, is exactly the same as the truck I own now, the friend's *who I didn't know 5 years ago yet I was dreaming about them* are my best friends now, and the route we took out of the city was on a highway that didn't exist 5 years ago *But does now*. So that's one that I still have and I wonder how I could have pictured the friends that I have now before I had met them.
And here's another weird thing, I dreamt like a year ago that my mom was going to get into a car accident, and I dreamt this 3 days in a row, and on the 4th day she did get in one.

Lucid dreaming is awesome, heres a cool dream someone had where everytime she would nap she would go to this town she later named Naptown and time continued in that place when she wasn't dreaming...

I find it interesting cause you really find a part of yourself that makes you feel even more alive and concious

OMG I am so envious - I have always wanted to battle Oprah. I remember once I was dreaming about fighting terrorists who funny enough showed up as a monochrome black color. Part way into the fight they hid among the civilians "threading" in and out through them so I could not get a clear shot off. My response was to start throwing hand grenades into the crowd while explaining to my partner? that there were an acceptable amount of civilian casualties allowed. When I woke up in the morning I was actually disgusted with my subconscious self and remained pretty creeped out the rest of the week.

I just had a pretty bizzare dream last night.
Me and all my buddies were somewhere in mexico and we were waiting in line for a beach, and someone cut in line in front of us so we beat the shit outta them.
Suddenly at the front we learn we need to get our wangs inspected so all of my friends leave.
I keep on going though and finally get into the beach and I go swimming and get attacked by an assload of sea turtles and manta rays all while running the hell away from some 20 foot long Gar looking things that was chasing me.
The look of the beach was really weird too, there was no sand just concrete and rather than a gradual decline down into the water the cement came to an abrupt stop and there was like a 15 foot drop into the water, with one rickity ladder to get out.
There were also a ton of devil rays jumping out of the water and trying to suck on all the people at the beach.
Ah man I finally have a dream again and it totally makes me want to shit my pants, LAME

I have lucid dreams for about an hour every day, I just get overwhelmingly tired over a couple of minutes then sleep. Weird >.> Also they're strangely prophetic.

The most recent dream I can recall was a couple of days ago. I was a five year old girl in a huge mansion, and my older sister led me out side. As we stood at the gates there was a weird sort of grinding noise, and my sister hugged me and said that she would always love me, she was crying. I could only see about fifty feet away, there was very thick fog (but I could see a dark red moon) and bursting through the fog a horse drawn carriage was coming along the cobblestone street. There was noone guiding it, but the leads (I think that's why they're called, the ropes that control how the horses move) just led from the horses up to a point by the driver seat floating in the air. On top of the carriage a man wearing a tuxedo and a top hat with a mouth that filled about half his face and black eyes that had a red glow around them swung a hook attached to a claw, and as the carriage went past it hit my sister in the neck, and dragged her behind it into the fog. After crying I tried to follow the carriage, after a few minutes I walked out of the fog (it was thick then I just walked out of it) and I could see a long grey road in front of me heading down a steep hill, to the sides of it were huge fields of black trees, in the distance a massive city sprung up, black buildings with a few windows in them that looked like spotlights. It was a valley, with mountains surrounding it. The red moon hung directly above the city, and the road was perfectly straight. I could see the carriage heading up to the city with my sister behind it.

That's pretty freaky. Just a side note though, lucid dreaming means that you know you're dreaming within the dream and so can control your actions and/or the dreamscape with your will.

exactly... you can fly, travel anywhere you want, make anything appear.. it's amazing. the only problem i have with it is that when i realize im dreaming, i get excited and wake up haha but besides that i love it
