Math Question (Mensa)
It's kinda interesting, pretty easy though. Here's the question.
Ryan just turned the age Rachel was 2 years ago. In 9 years, Ryan will be nine-tenths Rachel's age. Five years ago, Ryan was two-thirds Rachel's age. How old are they? Hint: Neither one is a teenager. |

Well I like math questions as they are pretty easy to figure out, though I wonder what you mean by "teenager"? The correct answer seems to be 9 and 11, as in 9 years they would be 18 and 20 (nine/tenths) and 5 years ago they were 4 and 6 (2/3rds). I'm guessing you don't consider 11 to be a "teenager" even though the number 11 is in the teens? Otherwise I'm clueless...

That's an easy one.
I posted a couple of mensa questions on the Daily Trivia for the Masses topic and no one answered those correctly. So, yeah... I killed that thread for a while. So I don't post there anymore.

HAHA reminds me of that time, when sj0ver was e-mailing with the president of Mensa. sj0ver asked him, how he could define intelligense in those ways their tests are build up. Becaue in one way, intelligense must be individual.
People that are'nt that bright in maths, can be very intelligent in languages and so on. It was quite fun. Well, personaly I don't get math - but I love language and thats where my intelligense are  /Dilicta

How old is Tim?: Tims Sister is 4 times the age of Tims Dog Tims Dog was 5 years Old when Tims sister was born. Errr... how can the sisterīs age be 4 times the age of his dog, if the dog is older than her? (see the 2nd statement).
Anyway, I guess itīs irrelevant since statements 3 and 5 alone would imply that Tim is 40 years old.
