i know this will be a random add to the flow of the convo....
but its the MMA thread... so ill jump right out there and say it i LOVE clay guida as a fighter the energy he brings to the matches just makes them so enjoyable to watch (plus i like the lightweight division)

I agree, Clay Guida is an exciting fighter. That fight between him and Tyson Griffin on Ultimate Fight Night the other day was excellent. Back and forth and very technical.
It was also a war when he fought Roger Huerta. I think his crazy hair disorients people  Also, for those who watch the Ultimate FIghter regularly, who are pulling for to win? I'm liking Tim Creduer (sp?) the BJJ guy, but I'm also liking Amir Sudollah, the kickboxer. I thought he was a smart ass at first, but now I think he's an ok guy. I also wanna see CB Dalloway fight this week, they said he cleaned house in his first fight, so let's see if he's for real.

I still can't figure out how Guida fights with his long hair. Must have x-ray vision or something.
That is badass you got to see Fedor live, my goal is to meet him before he retires.

Yeah, i'd like to get a chance to hang with the guy. He and Igor V. seem like the two most down to earth guys in the sport. Rampage would be a blast to hang out with, but I don't know if I could really be around him for a long time.

Just wanted to see how you guys think UFC 84 is gonna go tonight. Here are my picks, feel free to add yours.
BJ Penn vs Sean Sherk I'm gonna go for the upset and pick Sean Sherk on this one. BJ's gonna be tough to beat because he's made of rubber, but I just got a feeling. Keith Jardine vs Wanderlei Silva Going with Silva here. I am just not a believer of Jardine's skill yet. Tito Ortiz vs Lyoto Machida Machida on this one. I think Tito is gonna have his hands full with Machida's akward style.
