I just started back with graphics recently... I love Photoshop and any other arsty program... just soooo hard with soooo little time

Nice stuff. Contrary to what my sig would have anyone believe, I love to work with photoshop and come up with neat designs. I made most of my Linkshell's signatures for the forums I ran back when I played FFXI.

Like how the images you used don't stand out ridiculously and they actually fit the background design. It makes sense, but I'm often surprised at how people don't understand even such a common sense thing.

Art seems to be very difficult to understand for the common person... who isn't into the arts... I wouldn't exactly say common sense... more like, ability to appreciate the art?

When I really started to appreciate how things looked... you kind of learn a set of rules that come with art.

Some common rules, for example, with sig making that I learned from my graphics site, include:

1) The main Part of the signature (Ex: the hulk... more specifically his face)
Must be easy on the eyes, and it must stand out the MOST out of anything on the signature. It has to be the heart... the main FOCUS.
2) The signature has to make sense
3) The signature must have a "flow" that moves the sig in a general direction that is appealing to the eye... example, in my starcraft sig... doesn't it feel like the light is "coming down" on the marine?

There are SO many more.

And of course, people who break these rules, and make sick signatures... well, that is true art

I like the first one, I think a very good use of that stock :] pretty well rounded sig
The zero one seems a tad boring and theres no flow but not too bad
My favorite is the hulk, I love the colors and I like the flow
I like the effects I dont care for the stock but I think you did a great job with it, not really digging yellow but still nice attempt

Keep it up heck start your own sig request thread :]
It seems to be the fashionable thing if I do say so myself :P
