Anyways, I'll be starting out as a GM, basically. I am hoping I can move up into some sort of class design role eventually

Bleed4Me: I would assume once it starts on the 11th or 18th of August, I would have to know what to do in order to help people once the game launches.

I know this is obvious, but good god dont be a GM on our server
Unless of course your going to give me infinite money :]

Yea I dont know if you will one day be able to move up from GM to design but you may one day have a significant role as in the Mythic team on public relations

PR is always fun as well. Basically my end goal (short-term) would be to basically have the class lead for the forums (at least thats what Blizz has). Report directly to the developers on what the community feels needs to be done to the class, and be involved with the community. I figure CS is not a bad area to start at to get to that point. From there try and get into a conceptual design role/promotional person for a future MMO or RTS game.

Its a long path, but its better than here, I can't be a suit guy..

k, I still cannot get a hold of EA-Mythic to finalize anything, I am hoping the recruiter is on vacation (and not something worse) since I have recieved no response the last three days.

I put in my two weeks at Dell last night without having final confirmation from EA. They offered the job, I needed to make sure financially I could make the move, 72 hours later I left a voicemail and e-mail saying that I managed to get everything sorted out and that I want to formally accept the job, but I have heard nothing back from them.

I am beginning to get worried I may be unemployed soon
