This is probably the second most active forum for a guild for myself, I've been in one thats had a very very active community always on the forums and chatting via chat programs even before the game was released, it died off a bit after final fantasy 11 was released but all the chat online was crazy.

Its a very good community, we don't like to be strict although we do have rules we aren't uptight bastards in a sense that its a iron law, we live in a grey area of guilds.

You could call us a social guild but we do have a reason to be a guild, warhammer.

The guild structure is great. There is a good foundation as well as frame work. Hell, I don't come here for WAR so much as coming to talk with other guildies. I've made more of a commitment to this forum than any other I've been on, that says a lot.

Vent Winamp DJ channel FTW. My old PvP guild had one of those and it was the best channel to be in especially since we'd always be PvPin. Giveaways would be a fun thing to do. Did it in my GW guild where the older members would raffle awesome equips to othr members and it was just a great time cause we'd be chattin in vent and ingame. Im sure Fun things like these will catch on when WAR comes out.

On the subject, I didnt even know guilds had active forums. I was in a large raiding guil in WoW but the forum was seldom used and we only signed up for raids and stuff there. We were only social in the sense of vent convo and in game whispering (alot of backstabbing and cliques in my old guild). The forums will still remain active even after WAR comes out.

You gotta think of The Pretty Girl Thread and the Thread of Epic Fails. We can't let those die when the game comes out! Also I bet we will still get a steady stream of recruits when the game comes out so whos gonna encourage the newbies with "good luck on your app and remember to stay active"?

I doubt the integrity of this forum and its member once WAR comes out.

tl;dr Forum won't die when WAR comes out.

So your saying you will never be here again once the game comes out?
i'm saying i will be posting all my "posts" in guild chat

unless its to read something important (ie: must know info, raid schedule, etc etc.)

If I could figure out how to get my soundcard to stream into vent, I would bring back what I did in college "stoner radio"

anyways, this guild is awesome, no questions, serious enough to be good, but laid back enough to be fun, just the right balance it appears.

War is coming ./grin

yeah it seems like a social guild to me and I hope it stays that way. I don't want warhammer to feel like a second job
