Does any one else hate spending money?

I'm pretty much a huge saver. The only thing that convinces me to spend money is neccisity, or a REALLY good deal, or incredibly strong desire. Heck that's why I moved to MMOs, better to spend $15 a month playing the same game than spend $100 a month buying new shit, half of which you won't like after two weeks.

I read this and started thinking and realized that your right... For 15$ you get a game that updates itself regularly and keeps your intrest longer than a 50$ FPS where you buy another next month.

I spend every dime I dont set asside for retirement. I figure, i need some money to live on when im older since i dont want to work all my life and i can't take it with me. So...i spend it all I dont set aside.

I save about 10k a year since I started working (I'm 23 and have 16k chilling in the bank right now.) besides that money for down the road though I spend (whether I enjoy it or not) a decent amount. I'm starting to get everything set-up though so my spending, as usual, should become almost nothing until mid-November again, then ramp back up to where it was a month or two ago.

I can't keep the money after I am dead, so as long as I have enough to retire in my mid 40s, I am perfectly happy spending the rest.

I chose what I spend my money on, if I feel like I can afford it than I will buy it. As far as we know you only live once. IMO you are doing a good thing but not having enough fun. You don't need possessions to make you happy no, but it is fun to go out and buy new toys. You are putting a safe college fun or hospital fund away for you or your kid(s). But what is life if you can't spend a little money on going to the beach, Paris, the Rockies, see things before your life is over, have a big tv to watch Serenity on, or whatever tickles your fancy.

Now if your in a shitty job you can't take no more than save your money for retirement and then enjoy it all then. lol

650! Hell yeah! I been recently looking at new tvs. I wouldn't pass that deal up, if I am going new I am getting 1080p but used shit $650.00 is what I have left over after all my bills are paid from my pay check. I can eat cup o noodle soup for a couple more weeks for all that you got.

I love having lots of money, but I recently quit my job which was my only source of money so therefore I have none. The money in my bank is slowly decreasing with each month. It bites. And it sucks because I usually spend my money on food or the beloved Arizona Tea or a can of Monster. Hopefully when War comes out I'll have some money to actually pay for it!
