Thumbs up Gray Belt

Got my gray belt in MCMAP. Didnt think i was going to pass the test, but all went well. I only missed 4 of the techniques which is pretty good for only learning half of them from my classes (there was a lot of independent study involved).

/excited

I have a BB in Aikido, I highly recommend some form of self defense for everybody.

Although I did wrist toss and hammer struck the wrong guy about 5 years ago... I went to jail and got sued.

And two weeks ago getting out of a club in San Francisco. Some jerk just got in my face and started mouthing off, I turned to my friend nick "A dude you see any cops?" I got the green light... And well you know what happened next. One strike, nite nite.

It's handy... and I'm not endorsing fighting at all.

Edit; Again I don't encourage fighting. I'm a really nice guy.

I worked very hard to get the rank I did. (paid in pain)

Been wanting to learn some BJJ for the last couple years. Did Aikido for 12.

yes. also included (at least at my level) are bayonets, non-lethal batons and weapons of opportunity ("One mind; any weapon.").
