Forum Colors?

So should the forum have *some* lighter colors, perhaps whites/tans? Or should we go with the original LOS color scheme. Some people have mentioned that a lighter colored forum is easier to read.

This poll up above doesn't necessarily make the decision of what I'm going to do, just trying to get a feel for what people want. The original old LOS boards before the switch to vbulletin had a color scheme similar to this (probably only a very few of us remember this, well.. probably only Torr and myself, since it's that old lol). I thought it was pretty good on the eyes, and if properly done could be a bit sinister looking. Or, like I said we can just go back to the traditional LOS coloring, red links, white text, black background.

My vote goes to a lighter colour scheme, but still a cool or sinister or "steely" one.

You could make Legion of Steel quite steely...

Light red like maybe a 30% with some white and red and orange. oh can you add textures or patterns w/e

black/red joined in april never saw the tan setup

Make the background and stuff darker, sinister colors, while making the post boxes, a lighter color, so it is easier to read for those people who said it is easier with light colors.

EDIT: So I guess the tan sort of fits that option. Plus, every site has black/read... lets not follow the herd. Neon Green + Silver + Glow in the dark!

No, we meant it's easier with dark print on a light background. It's actually best practice in web dev.....not that it matters honestly...
