I've converted someone! Go me!!! Lemmie tell ya, it just gets better. Season 1 is the whole set up. It let's the characters gel and grow (and character development is what Rockne S. O'Bannon and Brian Henson are awesome at). Season 2 starts the rollercoaster but season 3 is the BEST of all 4 (plus mini series). It'll bend your mind. It's not linear always and it's a thinking person's script. How can you go wrong starting out with a living ship (that has her own wants, needs, fears etc) that is filled with escaped convicts trying to find their ways home without being recaptured by the Peacekeepers or killed by the Scarrons?? Then add to that, a mouthy, cocky human who lands on their ship (after getting shot through a wormhole while on space experiment) and who is, by the aliens' standards, less evolved and backwards AND by some crazy mis-timed mix-up ends up being hunted by not one but two crazed military generals and you have a recipe for some kickin' action. I swear more plot and action happens in one episode of Farsape than in most full seasons of other shows.... Hilarious, sexy, gritty, sad, complex (and sometimes disturbing).....it is the best sci-fi ever made. Have you finished the first season completely? Where are you at? Is Scorpius not the best Baddie of all time?? lol ![]() ![]()

First episode is the low point of the whole series....but necessary nonetheless. It's the whole father-son relationship influence (just the tiniest bit cheesy), NASA-experiemnt-why-john-is-on-the-other-side-of-the-universe set up..... The bit I love in the first episode is when Crichton lands onboard and they are all speaking alien languages and can't figure out why this slug of an organism was never injected with translator microbes.... LOL
