PHP Game?

I've been learning more about PHP/Mysql and I might try my hand at making a php/mysql game (think Urban Dead, etc), since this would give me a great opportunity to learn the languages as well as build something applicable.

I've been tossing around some themes of what type of game I would make, since there's a bunch out there it's semi-tough to be original. Soo... the top one's that interest me and in no particular order are in the poll (points up).

Feel free to offer other ideas.

I would be aiming the game(s) at being more mature, which includes possible bad language, blood & gore, sexual suggestive themes, etc. Probably the equivalent of a PG-13. Not making this R or worse, limits the audience.

I voted zombie because... I like the ideas that this particular scenario brings up, such as would people all work together to strive for survival or would it be every man for themselves and small groups.

I voted for the pirates, more sim like ( I kinda like sims)

I voted for Pirates since they are usually more popular so whether you do well or not more people will at least check it out.

It's a tough call right now, I think a zombies one would be the easiest to do while learning the ropes. Hmmmmm.....

Yea if you would find a zombies game easiest start of with that dont start off too big, though Id love to see Reqs take at Fallout
