Video Capture and Compression

Hey guys. I want some advice on making and compressing videos. It is something i always wanted to try.

I figure i will goof around recording some WoW for practice. I would like to make a WAR video someday so want to practice now.

I have a full version of Fraps on my computer. I get the jist of how to use it but any tips would be apprieciated.

What is your guys recommendation for compressing Fraps files?

I have no video editing experience so is there a program i can download that is user friendly to a noob at editing?

you can give Virtualdump a try , from what i heared its a nice tool

I am in your boat too I always wanted to make a pvp video worth showing off and I had Fraps... I even downloaded Vegas but I was always so far behind, it just seemed pointless...
